This is how much i love my job...

We were bored yesterday at work and took some pictures of my baby!  How great is this...  If you look really hard you can see that he has legs!!  The black circle thing is the uterus- so look in there.  His legs are up in the air.  All you see is legs and tummy.

New Years Goals

 These are Josh and I's goals for the new year.... hopefully you'll recognize which are exclusivly Josh's

1- get pregnant

2-climb a 14ner

3-be more active

4-shoot an elk

5-floss teeth once a week

6-go hiking at least 24 times in the year

7- see my sister Paula twice a month

so the new year was brought in by drinking sparkling cider at our friends house after playing games and eating a lot of food.  The clock we stared at for the last 10 min of the year  was 3 mins slow so we never got to count down...  watching the fireworks outside I got my new years kiss.

Our second year anniversary was once again rescheduled at the last minute due to winter storms.  we decided to go on our planned trips for the anniversary during the half year... which would be june i think.  Much safer time as far as the weather goes.   So we decieded to go snowshoeing instead in Boulder, eat at a fancy resturant and stay the night in a hotel.  All was planned using the new Garman GPS and we had a blast.  We ended up staying the night in a creepy hotel.  We never saw anyone the whole time.  They just answered the phone and told us where our key and room was.  Then a guy broke in our room in the middle of the night.  Seriously.... Josh yelled at him and he never actually came in but the door was opening.  We found out later it was a confusion on which room was rented out and bc it was our Anniversary we got the night for free!  FUN!  of course that made my day!  So it was worth staying in the creepy old dorm room of an Inn.   Check out the pics on facebook.com

This is me and my friend Megan when we went to the mall the other day.  Hah ha....  how cool is this?  we were bored and went into the baby GAP where they sell maternity clothes and tried on the "bellies".  I think its pretty obvious we both want to get pregnant.  Wouldnt this be fun??

what's my role as a wife? 

I am so confused lately about how to be the perfect wife i dont know what to do...  I mean seriously what is my role?  Am I to pick up his clothes and not grumble at the fact that we are getting ready for bed together and i threw my clothes in the hamper and his are just on the floor?  I feel bad after i make him feel guilty for making me put them away.   I dont want to be like that.... But do i not let the tears fall because his best friends-our friends- are coming to visit and they dont want me around?  Or do i get really excited for him because his best friends are coming into town and they are going to play survivor man and try and survive in the woods?  deep down i dont even want to go.  I like camping... but i dont like hiking into the woods and building shelter because no tents are allowed, i dont like sleeping on the sticks because blankets are not allowed.  I am a girl...

i want to be his perfect girl. I want to be the cool wife that doesnt complain about him being with his friends and actually being happy he is having a great time.  But there is such a huge part of me that wants to be the cool wife that gets invited to come along because they know i can hang with the guys.  I keep telling myself i am not going to complain nor say another word but i cant help it... i hate being left out.

So a couple of weeks ago Josh and I heard of the Frozen Dead Guy Days in Nederland, CO.   I have a friend here at work that lives there and told us the story.  I guess this guy was cryogenically frozen and is still stored in a tuff shed in the Nederlands.  You can read about it http://www.nederlandchamber.org/FrozenDeadGuyDays/index.html

But i guess they have these festivals yearly to raise money to keep up on the dry ice.  (haha)  So Josh and i went....

Then they all had a parade showing off their coffins they were going to race later on in the day

They cut a hold in the ice and stupid people jumped in....  This was the most intertaining part of the day.
